The run-up to an FA Cup final is supposed to be a joyous time for a club’s supporters. The season is over and the fans can look forward to a trip to Wembley and maybe even some silverware.
There has been no such feeling for Gunners fans who have been growing increasingly worried about the reports surrounding star man Alexis Sanchez.
We have reported today that the Chilean forward’s agent is reportedly in Bavaria to discuss a possible transfer move to German champions Bayern Munich.
The Champions League tie between the two clubs this season proved that Arsenal can’t match Bayern on the pitch, but new reports suggest that they might be able to win the off it.
The German press is reporting that Bayern are willing to pay £50 million for the player with wages of £11.1 million per season for Sanchez himself.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are willing to hand Sanchez wages of upwards of £17 million per season and are determined to hang onto their star man.
German publication Bild is reporting that Bayern are unwilling to match Arsenal’s offer with the German side’s strict wage structure only paying top-earner Robert Lewandowski under £14 million per season.
We’ll have to wait and see what Alexis Sanchez decides to do. Hopefully, the Chilean will be convinced by both the financial clout of Arsenal’s offer as well as an increased level of investment in the transfer market which will hopefully arrive over the summer.
