Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has spoken out regarding his comment about Nicklas Bendtner, a comment which went viral online while the England star was conducting a Q&A in Singapore.
The 21-year-old was asked which former legend would he love the chance to play with at this present moment; to which he answered: “Probably Nicklas Bendtner.”

The room, as expected, found the answer extremely hilarious, and the clip went viral with many praising the Arsenal man for his sense of humour.
However, Oxlade-Chamberlain has sought to explain himself through his Twitter page while also sending a warm message to the former Arsenal man who returns to the Emirates Stadium for the first time this weekend.
My @bendtnerb52 comment was a bit of fun and has been blown out of proportion Looking forward to seeing him this weekend @ the Emirates Cup!
