Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech reflected on a successful debut after we defeated Everton in the Barclays Asia Trophy final with the 33-year-old pulling off his fair share of saves.
First game , first win , first trophy… thank you everyone! It was a great week here in Singapore . Keep on winning ! #ArsenalSingapore

Cech took to his Twitter page and expressed his delight at lifting a trophy on his debut following his monumental move from Chelsea last month.
Our defence seemed calm and reassured knowing that they have one of the best goalkeepers in the world positioned behind them which will only make us a more solid unit.
Cech, who could do nothing to stop Ross Barkley’s magnificent strike, made a couple of eye-catching saves and also got accustomed to what is required from an Arsenal goalkeeper.

Instead of thumping the ball upfield at every conceivable opportunity, we require our goalkeepers to try and find outfield teammates with short passes.
A few of Cech’s passes went astray but the perfectionist in him will definitely see him brush up on those deficiencies to complete his game.
With one trophy in the bag, Cech is certainly starting as he means to go on.
