Arsenal’s teenage sensation Dan Crowley has been identified by teammate Hector Bellerin as the youngster to watch out for during the Barclays Asia Trophy, as reported on Arsenal Player.
Bellerin is a former teammate of Crowley’s in the development squads, and is fully aware of the young playmaker’s precocious talent. And the fact that Wenger has included him in the travelling party is a significant moment.
Crowley has been likened to Jack Wilshere (via the Daily Star) given his nationality and nimble footwork, but the 17-year-old is more of an advanced midfielder while also operates out wide.
Arsenal transfer rumours
“He’s a really big talent,” Bellerin told our media channel.
“He’s a player who likes to have the ball at his feet. He just needs a bit more experience and the tour is going to give him that.

“He’s definitely a player to look out for.”
The excitement surrounding Crowley may reach extreme levels if the British media start to see more of the midfielder in the coming months, and it’s hard not to predict a good future for our academy star.
He has the profile of an Arsenal footballer, and with Arsene Wenger’s desire to promote youth players Crowley could be next to follow in Bellerin’s path.
