Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on signing Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Çalhanoğlu, and has received a massive boost with the news that he is currently stalling on a new deal, as reported by the Metro.
The highly rated Bundesliga youngster has been fantastic recently, and is coveted by a number of top European clubs.
Turkish-Football report that he has rejected the pay-rise offered to him by Leverkusen, who are looking to tie him down to a new deal despite his current deal running until 2019.
The Turkish star is known for his dead ball ability, and is already arguably one of the best free-kick takers in football – despite being just 21-years-old.

We are well stocked in attacking midfielders, but the young star would offer a different dimension. We have not threatened enough from free-kicks and corners in the past, and he would go a long way towards remedying that.
He would certainly be one for the future, but would be well capable of adding something to the team straight away as well.
