Arsene Wenger has warned fans to expect more departures than arrivals this summer after admitting that our sensational form in 2015 has massively affected his transfer plans, The Telegraph reports.
Our first half of the season was disastrous, but since the turn of the year the balance of the side has resulted in the team returning to its fluent best.
The success stories have also been timely, with the likes of Francis Coquelin, Hector Bellerin, and David Ospina now becoming major figures within the team. The emergence of these stars have meant that the boss may have to sell before he buys in order to make space in the 25-man squad.

“We have a strong squad, we have some strong young players behind,” Wenger was quoted as saying by the Telegraph.
“We are not close to signing anybody. We have a very big squad, so we need to lose some players as well.”

For the first time in a few years many fans would actually agree with the boss, as only a few tweaks to our squad are needed in order for us to mount a challenge in, or indeed win, the Premier League next season.
According to the report, Wenger is looking at central midfield as a priority this summer, along with possible additions in between the sticks and at centre-back.
One thing is for sure, we are extremely close to having a complete squad – which makes this summer one of the most important in recent years.
