Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that he attempted to call Alexis Sanchez after the forward helped Chile lift the Copa America last week, but had to settle for a few text messages.

The boss was answering questions on Emirates Airline’s official Twitter account which he conducts annually when the squad return for pre-season training.
Wenger stated that he and Alexis exchanged a few messages, something every fan wants to hear with the boss and our star man sharing a strong relationship.
