Arsene Wenger is allegedly keen on bringing talented young forward Nabil Fekir to the Emirates, with the Ligue 1 star impressing for Lyon this season, according to the Sun.
The versatile attacking midfielder would reportedly command a fee somewhere in the region of £25m, and seems a little pricey for Wenger’s taste.
The 21-year-old is undeniably talented, but he doesn’t look like the kind of player we need at the moment. We have more than enough attacking midfielders and wingers, and while he has been known to play as a striker that is not his favoured position.
We are reportedly competing with Ligue 1 giants PSG for his signature, but Lyon are keen to sell outside of France if they are forced to let Fekir go.

The Under-21 international has made 20 starts for the club this season, finding the back of the net eight times over the course of the campaign. He would likely prove a fantastic signing, but there are other areas that far more urgently need addressing.
