Arsenal chase signing of £7m-rated Lille star to solve problem position
We have performed fantastically at times this season, and the last few games aside, our form in 2015 has been unrivalled.
Our squad is finally starting to look like one that could really compete for major honours, with the club entering a new era of financial stability, and Wenger finally forking out for big name signings.
That trend looks set to continue this summer, with the manager claiming he is on the lookout for world class players who could really improve the squad.
“We are ready to spend the money for players who strengthen our team. There is a difference in that and just spending money,” Wenger said (via the Metro)

“If I ask you who has spent the most money this last season and if I give you last season, and the season before, it is never the teams who have won the championship.
“We are in a position where we just want a player with an exceptional quality in any area that can strengthen us.
“The depth of squad is important and any world class player in any position can help us achieve what we want to achieve.”

Hopefully we are able to pull off a few of the touted deals, and really push on and challenge for the Premier League next season.
