Arsenal legend Nigel Winterburn has predicted that Arsene Wenger will pick a positive lineup and will go for the win at Old Trafford in the FA Cup on Monday night.
We head to the home of Man United having not won there since September 2006, and Winterburn believes the boss will be well aware of that and be hoping to put it right.
Arsenal are in good form, despite the hiccup in the Champions League against Monaco, and the former left-back feels we should have confidence heading into the encounter at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’.
Arsenal transfer news
“Although he does rotate his squad, I think he’s going to go into this game [with a very strong side],” Winterburn told TalkSport.
“They’re the [FA Cup] holders and he wants to retain [the trophy]. He knows that his team, away from home, have not really performed that well over the last couple of seasons and it’s going to be a really tough game.

“Arsenal are in pretty good form, so they should be able to go there and believe that if they defend well they will cause Man United problems.”
Winterburn was part of an Arsenal side regularly challenging Man United at the top of the Premier League and in the latter stages of the FA Cup.
While we’re some way off competing for titles again, the FA Cup quarter-final clash is one of the most important games against them in a many years.
