The super Swede was one of Wenger’s first signings as a permanent manager and arrived off the back of Wenger’s first double in 1998.
Ljungberg certainly took his chance, taking his position on the right and becoming a lethal goal threat throughout his stay.
During his time with us Ljungberg won two league titles and four FA Cups, while also transforming himself into a marketing behemoth – the Swedish David Beckham!
