It’s still a little strange to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in an Arsenal shirt every week.
The forward has had a fantastic few weeks for the club since his January arrival and has scored five in his last four matches.
Of the players to join Arsenal in the last few years, many have cited Arsene Wenger has one of the biggest reasons they joined the club and now, Aubameyang has revealed what it is like to work with the Frenchman.
“I am really happy because I am here because of him,” Aubameyang told BBC Africa Sport.
“He had the interest in me so I am happy to play for him.

“I’m feeling really better; in January I didn’t play a lot so it was difficult when I came here, but I’m feeling better and I try to do my best of course for the team and for the club.
“I think the team did very well and we are all happy, we are feeling better of course. We feel the confidence is back.”
