Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is confident that he and Alexandre Lacazette can both play in the same team together (via Sky Sports).
After waiting for almost six years for a top striker to help Olivier Giroud, Arsenal now have two to choose from.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang arrived from Borussia Dortmund in January, just six months after Alexandre Lacazette had been brought in from Lyon.
There were suggestions that Aubameyang was a direct replacement for Lacazette but the Gabon international has claimed that that is not the case.
“I hope we will have the opportunity to play together – it’s something I said when I first arrived that I hoped to play with him,” Aubameyang told Sky Sports.
“We have different styles, but I think they’re styles that complement each other – he’s a very good player and a very kind person.
“We were once rivals in our days in France, but we’re now friends and I hope we can play well together and score lots of goals.”

The pair have linked up well during their time on the pitch together in the Premier League. Let’s hope this continues and will continue to do so moving into next season.
