The BBC’s David Ornstein has claimed that Arsenal will confirm the deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan on Monday or Tuesday next week.
It’s a deal which looked utterly impossible just a few weeks ago but now, it only appears to be a case of waiting until it is confirmed.
Alexis Sanchez was always likely to leave Arsenal this season but few would’ve predicted that he would’ve ended up at Manchester United.
That is exactly what appears to be happening with the blow being somewhat softened for Arsenal by the potential arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Now, the BBC’s David Ornstein has confirmed that the deal should be confirmed by both clubs on Monday or Tuesday next week.

There isn’t believed to be a fee involved with both players simply swapping clubs.
It’s a shame to see Alexis Sanchez leave Arsenal. He’s a supremely talented player but as he has refused to sign a new deal, he should be moved on. Even though he probably should’ve been sold in the summer, getting a player like Henrikh Mkhitaryan in return is the best of a bad situation.
