Hector Bellerin is reportedly set to hand Arsenal a massive injury boost by returning to training as early as next week, according to The Sun.
The full-back has been out of action since picking up an ankle injury in the 1-1 north London derby draw with Tottenham and has missed the games against Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bellerin was initially expected to be out for a month with the problem, ruling him out of clashes against Bournemouth and Southampton, although there were fears he could miss much longer with the problem.
However, the defender is now reportedly ready for light training and could return to first-team action by mid-December which will be good news for the Gunners who have some testing fixtures before the end of the year.
Arsene Wenger’s side travel to West Ham on 3rd December before their final Champions League game against Basel three days later which is followed by Premier League games against Stoke City and Everton.
However, the one fixture that really stands out is the trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on December 18th which Arsenal will be desperate to have Bellerin available for.

Bellerin is expected to start running next week and will then link up with the first-team squad again, providing he does not suffer a setback in his recovery.
The full-back recently committed his future to the club, by signing a new long-term contract and the Gunners will want him back in action as soon as possible.
