The Danish striker has only made two appearances since the turn of the year and has been limited to just one Premier League start this season.
The 26 year old, who almost left the club in the summer, admitted that he is unhappy at the lack of first-team football he is receiving at the club and will look elsewhere this summer with his current terms set to expire.
According to Daily Mail, he said:
I’m not going to stay at Arsenal – first team football is what I’m after. The plan is for me to move on. I’m ready for a new challenge.
I know of the conditions. To keep my spot I need to play regularly. My self-esteem and my confidence as a footballer has not changed, but there are many who think all I do is party.
That I am completely indifferent to football, and it’s the wrong version of reality. When I find my right club, I am sure that everything will be all right in itself, if there are no more injuries.
When Nicklas Bendtner first broke through onto the Arsenal first team scene he held so much potential, but has never really showed his real ability and always talked a better game than he played.

His attitude has let him down throughout his career, at times his arrogance too and if he was half as good a player as he believes he would have been a world beater. His time on the bench has also hampered his development, as it can be a toxic place for any player and when you are consistently among the substitute, it completely destroys any momentum .
He will likely find a home at a team in Europe where the expectations are less stressful, or with a mid-table Premier League club. The opportunity to play games will benefit him and he will then also keep his place at international level. His move will free up some of the wage bill and hopefully allow Arsenal to plow more cash toward a world-class striker.
