Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s father is reportedly in London to complete his son’s move to Arsenal this week, according to Bild (via Sport Witness).
It’s the sort of big-money, big-name rumour which Arsenal fans have been familiar with in recent years.
However, unlike the rest of those rumours, this deal actually looks like it could be completed with major and reliable publications backing it up.
Now, the German paper, Bild has claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s father is in London and that his move to Arsenal ‘should be made perfect in the coming days.’
Most Arsenal fans will greet news like this with more than a little pessimism given how many big-name players Arsenal have been linked with but failed to sign in recent years.

Of course, nothing has been agreed yet so most will be waiting until they see a picture of Aubameyang with an Arsenal shirt but these reports can only be good.
Let’s hope that a deal can be wrapped up for Aubameyang in time for the weekend because as the last few weeks have shown, Arsenal are in desperate need for reinforcement.
