Jack Wilshere is reportedly a target for Harry Redknapp’s Birmingham City with the Championship side eager to take the Arsenal man on loan (via The Daily Star).
It’s shaping up to be a fascinating transfer window for Arsenal FC with big money deals for players coming in and out of the club.
Jack Wilshere’s future has somewhat slipped under the radar in recent weeks with reports that the Englishman is set to remain at the club.
However, now Championship side Birmingham City have declared their interest in the player with manager Harry Redknapp eager to bring in the player on loan.
Birmingham have already brought in two Arsenal players with Cohen Bramall and Carl Jenkinson both completing loan moves to the club.
Wilshere would be the third and surely a second loan spell in as many seasons would spell the end of his career at the Emirates.

It remains to be seen whether or not Wilshere will remain at Arsenal throughout the season. The Englishman is clearly not the first choice player in the centre of midfield but there was a feeling that he would feature heavily in cup competitions. Maybe that will not be the case after all following Birmingham City’s declaration of interest.
