Marco Reus is seeking an exit from struggling Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund this summer, and the prospect of working with Arsene Wenger has convinced him that a move to Arsenal is the way forward, according to the Daily Star.

The German international is a top target for a number of clubs, with Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Chelsea all credited with an interest.
If it’s true that he has his heart set on Arsenal however, then it just goes to show the kind of pull Arsene Wenger still has when it comes to attracting international talent.
Dortmund are languishing near the bottom of the German league at the moment, and could be facing a mass exodus at the end of the campaign. Reus will be keen to continue playing in the Champions League, and if the Bundesliga side get relegated then we could see a fire sale of epic proportions.

Reus is believed to have a £20m release clause in his contract that will become active next summer; a bargain for a player of his calibre. With any number of clubs no doubt willing to fork out such a modest fee for an established star such as Reus, it will come down to who the pacey forward wishes to sign for.
This rumour must be taken with a pinch of salt for the moment, but if true we could see yet another truly world class player joining the club this summer.
