Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere may not return to the Emirates after a season long deal at Bournemouth. The club’s chairman Jeff Mostyn revealed Bournemouth might attempt to offer a permanent deal for the midfielder.
Wilshere left Arsenal last month to join Bournemouth on season long deal after Arsene Wenger could not guarantee him regular first team football after an injury-plagued career.
Seeing the ease with which Wilshere has become part of the team, Mostyn thinks they can sign the player and offer him a permanent contract.
“I think anything is possible,” Mostyn admitted at the Soccerex Global Convention according to the Evening Standard.
“The best we can do is integrate Jack into the team and help him fulfill what he wants. Whether or not we will go beyond a season, I think everything is possible.
“You have to be realistic and Jack may well consider his home to be back at Arsenal. If that was the case then we couldn’t disagree with his decision – and the decision will be his.

“But if there is a possibility and Eddie Howe decides that he’s somebody he wants to keep it will be up to him.”
“He will have to persuade [owner] Maxim Demin to unload a huge treasure chest in order to keep him”, he added.
“That would be the $64m question – it may even be the £64m transfer fee!”
Wilshere is yet to play the entire 90 minutes for the Cherries, as manager Eddie Howe has decided to take it slow on the midfielder.
The 25-year-old earned a start against Everton playing a part in the impressive 1-0 win against the Merseyside club. In the four games Bournemouth has played Wilshere has appeared in three.
He made his debut as a sub against West Brom and helped Bournemouth earn a 1-0 win. Even though he couldn’t do much against Pep Guardiola’s side who thrashed them 4-0, Wilshere believes the club can have a decent league season.

Wilshere will decide his future at the end of the season. Seeing if he manages to earn regular starts and survive the season injury-free he might choose to stay at the club than returning to boy-hood club Arsenal where he will have to contest for a place in the team.
Even though Wenger is willing to welcome the player back, Wilshere might not gamble with the prospect of playing for England and if staying at Bournemouth serves the purpose he might not consider a return at all.
Plus to make matters worse for the midfielder, Mesut Ozil is set to take his No.10 shirt at the club.
