David Beckham’s son Brooklyn doesn’t look like he is going to make the grade at Arsenal, and is set to be released at the end of the season, according to the Metro.
The 15-year-old was reportedly impressing at the Hale End Academy, but not quite enough to be kept on.
He was hoping to secure a two year extension to his current deal, but failed to earn a scholarship contract.
The son of the former Manchester United star was recently called up to our Under-18s side, which many believed signalled his inevitable rise at Arsenal. His call up was allegedly due to the fact that the rest of the side were away at a youth tournament however, and unfortunately there are too many players ahead of him in terms of development.

The youngster apparently has the talent to succeed at another club if he wishes, but may not look for a move at the end of the season. The right sided midfielder could be considering retirement already, with the disappointment of not making it at Arsenal hitting him hard.
