Bernd Leno, 22, is allegedly top of the Frenchman’s wish list, with the Under-21 international earning rave reviews in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen this season.
Despite his tender age, Leno boasts over 100 appearances for Leverkusen already. He is rated as one of the top young goalkeepers in football today, and could prove a superb acquisition if the interest is real.
Neither Szczesny nor Ospina have looked totally secure in goal as of late, with both keepers seeing mistakes creep into their game. The Colombian has arguably not been allowed enough time to prove his credentials, but may need to do a little more to impress the boss.
