Santi Cazorla has admitted that he doesn’t know what will happen next with his current Arsenal contract set to expire at the end of the season (via Sport Witness).
Now that Arsenal have been eliminated from the Europa League and their season is somewhat over, Gunners’ fans can now look to the future.
There will be a lot of changes at the club in the summer with a new manager and, presumably a number of new players coming in.
There will also be outgoings, too but it is unclear who will be leaving. One player who could well be amongst them is Santi Cazorla who has recently returned to training after 18 months out.
The Spaniard’s current Arsenal deal expires at the end of the season and when asked, is clearly unsure what will happen next.
“My contract finishes in June and I do not know anything about my future,” Cazorla told Cadena SER.

“Nobody from Arsenal have offered me anything. I’ve been away for a long time, I have practically not been able to train and now I want to train, see the sensations I have and tomorrow we’ll see.
“Back to the Spanish League? Well, I only think about playing the game right now.”
It’s interesting that Arsenal haven’t offered Cazorla a new deal. It didn’t seem likely that the Spaniard would ever play for the club again and his recent return has been a shock. Let’s see if he can make an appearance before the end of the season and decide what happens next.
