Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin, and Calum Chambers all featured throughout the game, but it was Chris Willock and Stephy Mavididi who really stole the show.
After Rushian Hepburn-Murphy opened the scoring for Aston Villa early on, Arsenal really sprung into life. Willock equalised before half time to level the scores, and it was all Arsenal in the second half.
Mavididi gave Arsenal the lead for the first time, before doubling his own tally and making it 3-1. Willock provided the assists for both goals, and the pair looked really impressive in what was a really important game.

Cazorla understandably looked a little rusty following a number of months sidelined with injury, but there were glimpses of the quality we know he possesses. Hopefully we’ll get to see a bit more of him against Aston Villa, as well as some more from Wilshere.
