Santi Cazorla has revealed his all-time greatest Arsenal XI and has named only one of his current team-mates in his side, with Mesut Ozil getting the nod from the Spain international.
The 31-year-old goes for a very strong looking back-line with David Seaman in goal, the former England international won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups during his time at Arsenal, making over 400 appearances for the Gunners.
Ahead of Seaman, Cazorla opts for “amazing players” Tony Adams and Sol Campbell in central defence. Between them the two stars won six Premier League titles and are widely regarded as two of the greatest centre-backs the Gunners have ever had.
Cazorla completes his defence with Bacary Sagna and Ashley Cole as his full-backs, both players still currently in action, Sagna at Manchester City and Cole in MLS with Los Angeles Galaxy.
Onto the midfield and Cazorla names Robert Pires on the left, describing the former France international as “one of the best players in the world. I played with him at Villarreal and he’s a great, great player.”
In the centre of midfield, Cazorla goes for legendary Gunners captain Patrick Vieira explaining “for me was an amazing player, a strong guy, I love him” and Gilberto Silva.

Completing the midfield is Arsenal’s current No.11, Mesut Ozil with Cazorla explaining his decision to include the Germany international simply “because he’s amazing”.
Up front and there are few surprises with Dennis Bergkamp, a player Cazorla simply calls “legend”. Taking his place alongside the Dutchman is Arsenal’s greatest ever goalscorer – Thierry Henry “the best striker ever for Arsenal.” No arguments there Santi.
