Piers Morgan did a rather lengthy interview on talkSPORT recently, and the celebrity Arsenal fan had plenty to say. We at AllArsenal don’t often agree with Morgan, but we find it hard to disagree with his views on Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho has had more than his fair share of problems with almost every manager under the sun, but few as regularly as Arsene Wenger. The pair have a long, long history together, and can regularly be seen taking digs at one another in the media.
Wenger is more often than not simply responding to a barb thrown his way by the Portuguese manager, and even then tends to handle himself with dignity and respect. Mourinho on the other hand, takes every opportunity he can to sling whatever childish insult springs to mind at the Arsenal boss, and seems to use Wenger as a way of directing attention away from his team’s poor performances.
Morgan sent a message to the Blues boss on talkSPORT, playing on his title of ‘The Special One’, and a previous dig he took at Wenger in which he called him a specialist in failure.
“Jose, you are a specialist, a specialist in failure, a specialist in relegation zones, a specialist in – potentially – the Championship next season,” he said.
“I wish I could say I feel sorry for you but I don’t because you are an arrogant, cocky, sneering, Portuguese SOB (which I believe is the preferred term for your medical staff.)”

Mourinho unquestionably gets results, and when he’s moved to big clubs with big money to spend, he wins things. He leaves every club in tatters however, and when he’s eventually found out at each and every club he manages, he moves on quickly and makes a big media fuss about it.

He’s one of the most despicable men in football, and is really the type of self-centred, egotistical, over-dramatic pantomime villain that is ruining the game.
