A newspaper in Chile has told Alexis Sanchez to “stop listening to the s**t” about a possible transfer and focus on playing football (via Sport Witness).
Another day, another Alexis Sanchez story. He may not have even played for Arsenal on Thursday night but that hasn’t stopped him from getting in the worldwide press.
Sanchez’s transfer situation is the worst-kept secret in football after his deadline day move to Manchester City fell through.
The Chilean has just one year left on his contract and after a poor start to the season for the Gunners, Sanchez has been on the wrong end of some criticism back in his home country.
“His technique in speed and his imagination to create in confined spaces make him very different from the rest of the ten Reds that surround him,” the article in La Tercera claims.

“That’s his path, keep ringing his name in the most competitive league in the world.
“His real mission is to forget his transfer, stop listening to all the s*** that flies around, close his circle, work to be the best of the Premier League and bring Chile to the World Cup. The rest, in the trash”.
Chile are struggling in their World Cup qualification campaign and Sanchez has been attracting some blame for it. It’s clear to see that the question marks over his future are seriously affecting his performances on the pitch. Alexis Sanchez hasn’t been the same player for some time, a run stretching back to the tail end of last season. Hopefully, the Chilean will either sort himself out and get back to playing well for the club or take his bad attitude out of the club for a hefty transfer fee.
