Along with the upcoming return of the Barclays Premier League, the opportunity also arises for fans to join the Fantasy League Classic to test their skills as a virtual manager and compete for over £50,000 in prizes.
To enter, all you need is £10 for a Classic account, while the option is also available to upgrade to a Silver account for £15 and a Gold account for £20 for the chance to get your hands on more prizes.
As many of you are no doubt aware, the aim here is to pick a squad of 16 from every player available in Barclays Premier League with a modest budget of £75m, where points are awarded each game-week for each player’s actual performance in the Premier League.
Be wary with your selection however! If things start going bad you only have 25 transfers to last you for the entire season, with a maximum of 5 transfers per month.
Points are awarded to every player for goals scored (3 points) and assists (2 points), while defensive players also earn points for clean sheets (3 points) and appearances (1 point), but also lose points for each goal conceded (-1 point).
