Arsenal’s newest edition to their defensive line-up Shkodran Mustafi will don the number No.20 this season.
The number was previously worn by Mathieu Flamini who was recently released by the Gunners earlier this summer after his contract expired at the club.

Mustafi is currently on international duty with Germany where he also encountered an injury scare during their 2-0 win over Finland. The 24-year-old to Gunners’ relief was able to continue the match and hopefully be match fit when he returns to the club for his Premier League debut.
The German international is expected to be a regular figure in Wenger’s line-up and will hopefully make an appearance against Southampton for the Premier League fixture on 10th September to be held at the Emirates Stadium.
No.20 was also worn by Phillippe Senderos and Johan Djourou before Flamini, the two defenders Mustafi needs to avoid following in the footsteps of as great things are expected from the German.
