Galatasaray-Arsenal
UEFA Champions League
Turk Telekom Arena
Kick off: December 9th, 2014 1945 GMT
After the defeat at Stoke, our next game is a midweek fixture away against one of the most controversial teams in Europe, Galatasaray. The Turkish Champions, whose home ground is a fortress and extremely hostile to visiting teams, will be looking to sign off with a win to placate their fans. Arsenal, meanwhile, have rested several of their first team players in anticipation of the weekend game against Newcastle and Wenger also took the unusual step of naming his squad a day in advance.
The squad mainly consists of our infrequently used substitutes, along with a few youngsters who will get a chance to impress at the highest stage. Players returning from injury, like Szczesny and Debuchy have also been given a chance to get back to fitness.
Among the substitutes, we have even more youngsters. All the best to them, and hopefully Arsenal can secure a victory today.
