Arsenal-Reading
FA Cup
Wembley Stadium
Kick off: April 18th, 2015 1720 BST
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is taking no chances at the Wembley; choosing to field a strong side instead of resting key players for the game against Chelsea. With the FA Cup our most likely route to silverware, the manager surely wants to ensure that there are no unforseen hiccups.
A couple of changes in the side, with out of favour keeper Szczesny given the chance to impress against Reading tonight; regular keeper Ospina starts on the bench. Also, upfront Welbeck replaces the lethal Giroud. Mathieu Debuchy also makes a comeback to the side from injury, while Gibbs starts on the opposite flank in place of Monreal. In the middle Wenger has retained the pairing of Kos and Mertesacker.
In midfield, Coquelin, Ramsy, Cazorla and Ozil all start, and the Reading defenders will not be relishing the prospect of trying to keep them quiet. The workhorse Sanchez also starts to add that extra bit of fire to the attack.
Our bench is also rather strong, with Wilshere, Walcott and Giroud all capable of finding a late goal.
