The teams have been announced for our trip to Anfield, and we’ve got arguably our strongest available lineup after a few players were rested over the weekend.
Petr Cech unsurprisingly keeps his place between the sticks, with David Ospina still out of matchday squad completely.
Arsene Wenger is sticking with his preferred centre-back pairing of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel Paulista missing out on Premier League action yet again.
Our Spanish duo Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal continue on the flanks, with Kieran Gibbs on the bench and Mathieu Debuchy nowhere to be seen.
Mathieu Flamini and Mesut Özil start after missing out on the weekend, while Aaron Ramsey swaps the bench for the starting XI.
Joel Campbell is rewarded for his goal with another start, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain relegated to the bench. Theo Walcott hasn’t been in the best form, but he keeps his place out wide, while Olivier Giroud starts up front yet again.

It looks as though Roberto Firmino will be playing a false 9 role, with Christian Benteke on the bench. Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho are the starting centre-backs, although both have had injury problems in recent weeks.

Arsenal transfer news
It’s certainly not a weak Liverpool lineup, but we should be more than capable of getting all three points at Anfield tonight. We were able to rest a couple of players against Sunderland on the weekend, Something Liverpool – with Capital One Cup, FA Cup, and Premier League duties – have struggled to do.
