Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has responded to speculation the Blues are considering a move for Alexis Sanchez.
Reports earlier this week claimed that Chelsea were keen on bringing the Chile international to Stamford Bridge to partner Diego Costa up front.
Conte was unsurprisingly asked about talk linking his club with Sanchez in Friday’s pre-match conference ahead of their clash with West Brom.
“I don’t think it is right to talk about the other players, the other teams. It’s not right. Now we are totally focused on our next game against West Brom,” he said.
“January or next season are so far. I repeat it’s not right to talk about other players. It’s a lack of respect for the other team and for my players.”

Conte’s comments give little away about his views on his club’s interest on signing Sanchez unlike Pep Guardiola who responded angrily when asked about claims he had phoned the Chilean to discuss a move, insisting the reporter was “a liar”.
Speculation over Arsenal’s star man looks unfortunately set to dominate the headlines for some time to come, or hopefully until the club announces he has extended his current deal.
