Arsenal target Julian Draxler has agreed a deal to join French champions Paris Saint-Germain although the Ligue 1 side are yet to agree a fee with Wolfsburg for the Germany international, according to French outlet RMC Sport.
The 23-year-old is reportedly set to sign a four-and-a-half-year deal with Unai Emery’s men and is in advanced talks although Wolfsburg are keen to secure a fee of £33.6 million for the winger.
Arsenal have long been linked with a move for Draxler and speculation had claimed they would bid £30m in January while other reports this week have suggested Juventus have dropped their interest in the Wolfsburg man, leaving PSG as hot favourites for his signature.

Draxler now looks to be inching ever close to the Wolfsburg exit door having already reiterated his desire to quit the club, having being dropped from the struggling side and booed by his own fans.
PSG now look set to win the race, although the price could prove a stumbling block, as talks between the two sides continue. The French champions have been keen to boost their attack having struggled since the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, they are currently third in the table some seven points behind leaders Monaco.

Draxler, meanwhile, is clearly keen to reignite his career after a troubled spell at Wolfsburg who are also enduring a miserable season in the Bundesliga.
While Wenger has been keen on Draxler in the past, it’s unclear whether Arsenal were willing to spend big this winter on the Germany international. Some reports have also claimed Mesut Ozil was keen for the Gunners to bring his international colleague to the Emirates – although this is one move that looks highly unlikely to happen now.
