Eddie Howe has heaped the praise on the way Jack Wilshere has settled at the club since his Deadline Day move to the South Coast. Wilshere will spend the season on loan at Bournemouth and could make his debut on Saturday (via The Daily Mail).
It was one of the most surprising moves of the summer when Jack Wilshere swapped North London for the South Coast. The Englishman made his Deadline Day switch to AFC Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal and his new boss has spoken about how the 24-year-old is getting on.
“He’s settled into the changing room and the dynamics of the group seamlessly, he has been very bright and good in training.” Howe was speaking ahead of Saturday’s clash against West Bromwich Albion at Dean Court. “As you would expect his quality on the ball is obvious and his technical ability is of a very high level.”
Howe didn’t say whether or not Wilshere will be making his Bournemouth debut on Saturday but certainly seemed open to it. “We’ll wait and see what my team selection is, but I think he has given the place a lift. There’s been a positive impact around the squad.”
Howe clearly seems like a fan of his new recruit. Wilshere and Bournemouth kick off at the same time as Arsenal’s match against Southampton this weekend so Gunners fans might not have the opportunity to follow the match first-hand. However it is a very interesting transfer and there are a lot of people in the football world keeping an eye on Wilshere’s progress at Bournemouth.
