Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has revealed the extent of the injury sustained by Hector Bellerin on Sunday afternoon (via Arsenal.com).
It was a disappointing result and performance from Arsenal when the Gunners drew with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The 2-2 draw saw Arsenal’s eleven-match winning run come to an end but the game could have further ramifications.
Gunners right-back Hector Bellerin was replaced at halftime and now, Unai Emery has revealed the extent of the injury.
“Yes, he’s injured,” Emery said after the match. “I hope it’s not a big injury, but he had muscular pains.
“I don’t know [whether he’s a doubt for the Liverpool game next Saturday].”

Emery did confirm that both Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac should return in time for the Liverpool match next weekend which means that the Gunners should be okay defensively. If Hector Bellerin is out for a couple of weeks then Stephan Lichtsteiner can always fill in for him at right-back. The Gunners will lose some of their spark moving forward.
