It’s been a wonderful couple of months for Arsenal on every front as the Gunners made it 11 consecutive victories on Thursday night.
Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the match against Sporting CP as Arsenal continued their longest winning run in over a decade.
Now, Unai Emery has given his thoughts on the incredible run of form ahead of Sunday’s trip to Crystal Palace.
“It’s true that we’ve won the last matches, but each match is very important for us and very difficult for us,” Emery said after the match on Thursday.
“It’s important that we don’t stop and that we continue to work every day and keep up our concentration for each match, to do that with high intensity.

“Maybe it’s one process but we need to be very demanding of ourselves to improve and also when we are winning, we need to look at where we can improve tactically to progress individually and collectively.
“We do this with tactical things and by taking a lot of confidence, by taking a lot of responsibility and showing a lot of ambition to keep our demands very high in order to improve.”
Unai Emery must be delighted with this start to his time at the club. Many feared the worst after two defeats in his first two matches in charge of the club but since then, Arsenal have gone from strength to strength. Let’s hope it continues on Sunday.
