Unai Emery has spoken about Sven Mislintat after the German’s exit from Arsenal was confirmed (via Arsenal.com).
It was a story which few Arsenal fans expected to read so soon after his arrival but today, Sven Mislintat has concluded his time with the club.
The former Head of Recruitment only joined the Gunners from Borussia Dortmund 13 months ago but his surprise exit has been confirmed.
Mislintat’s departure is the result of a reported fallout with some of the Arsenal hierarchy and now, head coach Unai Emery has spoken about his exit.
“I have been working with him for eight months and my relationship with him is good,” Emery confirmed in his pre-match press conference.
“Also, when I arrived here, there were young players coming here, and they decided to because his responsibility is with some players.

“I think he has a very good scouting responsibility for his past and his present. I worked well with him but after, it is one decision between the club and him.
“I don’t know exactly all but I respect him and the club. I worked well with him and I wish good luck for him in his future.”
It’s a strange story and one which we may never know the full truth of. Sven Mislintat arrived at the club with a big reputation but his time with Arsenal has been cut short. Hopefully, the Gunners will find a suitable replacement soon.
