Everton are set to rival Manchester City for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer, according to The Mirror.
The 23-year-old is into the last 18 months of his current contract and has already reportedly attracted interest from Pep Guardiola’s side.
Ronald Koeman is also now believed to be keen on the Englishman and is ready to overhaul his squad this summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain admitted at the start of the season that he would contemplate leaving the club if he were unable to secure regular football.
“There comes a time in your career where you have to re-evaluate things and think, ‘Is that going to be here or elsewhere?” he told Sky Sports back in October.
“As a footballer, you want to play every game. Me being myself, I’m not happy when I’m not playing.

“There is going to come a time in my career, and I think I’m approaching that, when I do need to be getting more regular football.”
The forward has made 33 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners this season but has managed just 10 Premier League starts and is far from a regular under Arsene Wenger.
The Englishman is also frequently substituted whenever he does start and his future has come under scrutiny with Arsenal well stocked for options in attack.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has frequently been used in a deeper central midfielder position recently due to injuries to Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey and there is some debate as to which is his best position.
The former Southampton star has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool, which manager Jurgen Klopp was quick to dismiss, while Manchester United have also been linked with a £30m move recently.
Despite definite signs of improved form this season, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s future appears hugely uncertain with no sign currently of a new deal being offered.
