Lukas Podolski may well have come to the end of his Arsenal career, but it appears as though he could be set to remain in the Premier League. Roberto Martinez is apparently looking to bring the German international to Everton, but only if the price is right, according to the Daily Star.

Everton endured a torrid season in 2014/15, and clearly need to strengthen ahead of the new campaign. Podolski may no longer be of the standard required to play for Arsenal, but he boasts qualities that mean many teams may still be after his signature.
The World Cup winner has arguably the most deadly left foot in football, and with the power he generates it’s often surprising that the net remains attached to the goal. He is a fantastic finisher, and scores some truly wonderful goals. He doesn’t offer enough in other areas of the pitch however, which is why he is surplus to requirements at Arsenal.
He has struggled for first team football at the Emirates, and that is unlikely to change next season. The former Bayern Munich man didn’t enjoy a particularly fruitful spell on loan with Serie A side Inter Milan either, but perhaps Martinez can get the best out of him.
