Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is enjoying his considerable winnings after betting £50,000 on Floyd Mayweather to beat Manny Pacquiao in what was the most highly anticipated boxing match in recent history, the Mirror reports.
Frimpong posted his betting slip on his official Instagram page, which was picked up and shared virally by Betfair. According to the calculations, the destructive midfielder can expect a return of £78,600.
After a stint in the lower leagues, Frimpong was released by Barnsley and is currently plying his trade in Russia with Ufa. Stories similar to this latest episode are part of the reason why the Ghanaian never made it at our club.
