Former Arsenal star Paul Merson has dismissed the notion that we are a one man team, and claims Tottenham are far more over-reliant on Harry Kane than we are on Alexis Sanchez, as reported by Sky Sports.

Merson claims Spurs would be lost without Kane, and insists they would have struggled this season without the young striker.
The 46-year-old believes we would fare far better without Sanchez however, as was evidenced by our 5-0 win over Aston Villa this past weekend.
“Arsenal will miss Alexis Sanchez because he’s top drawer but they got by without him last week. I don’t think Tottenham could do without Harry Kane but Arsenal could live without Sanchez,” he said.
The Chilean has no doubt been sensational this season, and dug us out of more than a few holes when we were not playing our best at the start of the season. We have managed without him however, and even secured a 2-0 win over Manchester City despite the 26-year-old visibly having a poor game.
He will of course be badly missed when we head to White Hart Lane this Saturday, but with the likes of Santi Cazorla, Mesut Özil, and Olivier Giroud all finding their best form, we should have more than enough quality to get the win.
