Reports are suggesting Lukasz Fabianksi is a target for Schalke this summer with the Pole’s contract set to expire at the end of this season.
Fabianski has declared he will leave Emirates this summer in a bid to secure regular gametime. He’s certainly making a statement for a transfer to another top club with some solid performances for the Gunners in both the FA Cup and the Champions League.
As much as Wenger would like to hold onto the Poland international, it seems inevitable he’s set for a departure especially with Arsenal unable to influence any decisions with his current terms ending at the climax of this campaign.
The Metro are reporting the Bundesliga club are looking to offer Fabianski a pay rise to quit the Emirates Stadium, and he’s able to sign a pre-contractual agreement abroad at his own will.
Schalke have apparently approached the Pole’s agent and have offered him a three-year-deal. Arsenal should really put an irresistible offer on the table for Fabianski, however they could chose to avoid doing so and help develop some good faith with Schalke as they look to land Julian Draxler this summer.

The Gunners are hot on the trail of the Schalke star after failing to secure his services in January, and with a buyout clause in his contract set to come into play at the end of this season, he will be available at the right price.
Unfortunately they hold no bargaining power with Fabianski as his contract expires, but perhaps it could have an indirect influence on their chances of landing the Germany starlet.
Will you be gutted to see Fabianski go? I’d personally prefer him to head aboard then remain in England as he’s a fantastic goalkeeper. It will be a shame to lose a shot stopper of his calibre but it’s understandable. He needs regular game time. And if it can influence the Draxler deal in anyway then it’s only positive.
