Another year, another Arsenal player being strongly linked with a move to FC Barcelona. In the past there was Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas, now there is Hector Bellerin.
The Spaniard was signed from The Catalan club as a teenager and has now made over 100 appearances for the club at right-back.
FC Barcelona are in dire need of a right-back and the La Liga side are reportedly huge admirers of Bellerin. Now, the Spanish press is claiming that the right-back has agreed to terms with Barcelona.
Mundo Deportivo claims that FC Barcelona’s ‘Operation Bellerin’ is to agree to terms with the player before Bellerin himself forces through a move. However, the publication does acknowledge that Bellerin would be unwilling to do that without a concrete transfer offer between the two clubs in place.
Going against that, the man himself has taken to Twitter to post a rather cryptic message.

“Don’t believe everything you read,” he says, without really referring to which part of the story.
It’s still unclear whether Hector Bellerin will be an Arsenal player next season with contrasting reports across the media. One thing is for certain, the Spaniard is an excellent young prospect and the Gunners will not want to sell unless they absolutely have to.
