Arsenal are set to embark on a tough run of fixtures next month, with the Gunners facing Liverpool twice in the space of a week with home ties to Manchester United and Bayern Munich sandwiched between the FA Cup fixture.
Arsenal overcame Coventry City 4-0 in Friday’s fourth round FA Cup match, earning them a home tie against Liverpool in mid February.
Arsene Wenger’s side will be hoping for maximum points in their next two Premier League fixtures against Southampton and Crystal Palace (first game in Feb, at home) before embarking on an intense two weeks of football against some of the continents top attacking teams.
On Saturday 8th Feb they face Liverpool at Anfield then host Man Utd four days later at Emirates. The Gunners then play Liverpool at home at some point during the weekend of the Saturday 15th Feb in the FA Cup.
Then in midweek they play their first leg of the Champions League on Wednesday 19th Feb against none other than Bayern Munich. Three days later they play at home once again against Sunderland on Saturday 22nd Feb.

February will be difficult however majority of the ties will be at Emirates which is a major boost. Not only will they have the incredible support of the home crowd, but traveling is limited. Had their FA Cup tie been in front of the Kop their task could have been much more difficult.
At first glance the fixture list appears deadly. However if we’ve learnt anything this season it’s not to underestimate this Arsenal side.
