Despite the number of articles on Chelsea winning the title with a draw at the Emirates, the real truth is that we lost any realistic title chance months before last weekend’s clash.
Here are the list of matches that damaged our title challenge.
1.Leicester-Arsenal 1:1
It’s hard to say that Leicester – overall – didn’t deserve a point but it was Alexis who had drawn first blood. If Laurent Koscielny hadn’t been reluctant to leave the pitch with concussion, someone else might have done a better job in keeping Leonardo Ulloa from heading the ball home. It was the beginning of the season though and every high ball was a potential danger for us.
Dropped points: two.

2.Arsenal-Manchester City 2:2
Now, this one could have gone either way so a draw wasn’t that bad, especially considering the fact City had two great opportunities to win the game. However, I can’t help myself thinking that we should have avoided conceding an equalizer with five minutes to go.
Dropped points: two.
