We have been linked with a move for exciting young striker Jonathan Calleri in the past, and have now made a bid for the Boca Juniors star, according to the Metro.
The 21-year-old is touted as one of the most promising stars in South America, and has attracted the attention of a number of top European clubs.
We are allegedly attempting to lure him to the Emirates this summer, but the likes of Valencia, Villarreal, and Inter Milan are also in for him.
The Argentinian star has notched a fairly impressive 10 goals in 26 games so far this season, and looks to be constantly improving.

He is tipped to become one of the stars of the future, so securing his signature now could be a fantastic bit of business.
Most fans would more than likely prefer to see an established name join the club this summer however, and many are calling for Olivier Giroud to be replaced.
Calleri is unlikely to be able to match the expectations the fans would have just yet, so a summer switch to the Emirates may not be in his best interest.
