Former Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has landed himself in trouble after getting involved in a half-time bust-up with Hamburg teammate Valon Behrami.
The 28-year-old’s side are currently rooted to the bottom of the Bundesliga, and have just six games to claw back the four point deficit and save themselves from relegation.
And it appeared that things got too much for Djourou and his teammates during their game with third placed Wolfsburg. According to the Metro, the centre-back and the former West Ham man – who is also a colleague for the Swiss national team – came to blows at the interval with the score at 1-0 to the away side, thanks to a goal from Josua Guilavogui.
The incident seemed to fail to fire up his team as Daniel Caligiuri sealed the win with less than twenty minutes to go. As if things couldn’t get worse, Djourou would be dismissed for a second yellow in the final stages of the game.

In total, Djourou made 180 Arsenal appearances, in a stint that lasted an entire decade, between 2004 and 2014.
Sadly, he never lived up to his mooted wonderkid potential.
