The 18-year-old showed a lot of potential at the Nou Camp, but was never able to break into the first team. He hasn’t had any more luck since moving to Serie A either, and has failed to make a single appearance this season for Roma.
Wenger is allegedly looking to replace Yaya Sanogo following his loan move to Crystal Palace, and views the Paraguayan as an affordable option.
After failing to break out of Barcelona B, Sanabria joined Sassuolo in January 2014. He was at the club for just six months however, before joining Roma last summer.

At 18 he still has plenty of time to develop, but if he hasn’t proved good enough for the capital based Italian side, then it’s difficult to see why Arsene Wenger would want to bring him to the Emirates.
