Arsenal fans are eternally on edge when it comes to Arsene Wenger’s comments, especially when the transfer window is approaching, and for good reason too.

Wenger told Martin Keown (via BBC Sport) exactly that on the eve of our FA Cup win against Manchester United: “What people forget is you have to build a new stadium. Now we can compete for the best players and that was not the case five years ago.”
